MPD Student Opportunities

The MPD CO Section sponsored “Len and Rosa Harris CSM Student Scholarship” is available to undergraduate students at Colorado School of Mines who are enrolled in the Extractive Metallurgy program and have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 and have at least one year remaining to complete their degree.

Students are invited to speak at the 2022 Colorado Sub-Section Minerals Processing Division annual conference. We invite you to submit an abstract and brief personal biography for a presentation to be given at our annual conference at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs in 2022.

The top three students will be invited to make a presentation at the conference where the student with the best presentation will win a $3,000 award and each of the runners up will be awarded $1000.
